A new product begins with an idea -- a solution to consumer need. At Heritage, each concept begins as a rough sketch by staff designers, and it is refined to a detailed design drawn to actual size. The new idea has become a work in progress.

At the factory, the finished drawing is translated into computer data that control the large, complex knitting machines that create the finished lace product. On the machine the transformation is complete, from original idea to artist's concept to intricately beautiful lace with each minute detail precisely in place.

A talented in-house design team enables Heritage to respond creatively to market demand for new products for varied tastes and decorating styles.
